The Mosaic Project
The Mosaic Project is a developing creative initiative from The Custom Family, led by Larry McCrudden and Tyler Whisnand, about memory, family, care, connection — human moments that matter.
It began with a simple recognition: when families are touched by dementia, Alzheimer’s, aging, or major life change, they are not only managing care. They are also trying to hold onto identity, humor, history, love, and the pieces of a life that deserve to be seen.
The project is being shaped as a living collection of creative contributions: photographs, short films, stories, voice notes, objects, captions, fragments, rituals, songs, and other formats & mediums we don’t about yet. We’re especially interested in the ideas people bring to the table, because the point is not to force memory into one format. The point is to give meaningful human evidence a place to gather.
The Mosaic Project is not a clinical resource or a treatment program. It is a cultural project, still in development, being shared first with trusted artists, advisors, friends, and supporters before any public launch.
Right now, we’re looking for perspective, participation, creative input, potential contributors, and thoughtful partners who can help us build something useful, beautiful, honest, and worthy of the people and memories at the center of it.
